A multi-view peninsula fireplace delivers a flame to multiple rooms.
Designed as a room divider, the Peninsula Fireplace Insert features three open sides, enabling the mesmerising flame to be viewed from any direction - the front, back and open side.
The three transparent sides create an eye-catching focal point and provide the perfect solution to heating multiple rooms, to integrating within commercial/hospitality spaces and dividing open floor plans.
The Flex 50PN.BXL comes with a Decorative Box on the left-hand side. The design is fitted with a glass panel that divides the box and the Firebox and creates an attractive streamlined look. Instantly transform any wall into a feature, indoors or out, with a stylish, clean-lined Flex Firebox.
The XL500 burner, the 'baby' of the XL Series, delivers a stunning, long-lasting linear flame. It may be compact in size, but with a 5L capacity, this ethanol burner can heat up to 40m2.
Efficiency is a key feature of this burner, delivering up to 13 hours of heat generating flame off a single refill.

View AllDo ethanol fireplaces smell?
All heating appliances have their own smell be it gas, wood or electric - ethanol fireplaces are no different. e-NRG ethanol fuel is made of fermented plants like sugarcane or corn and is essentially a liquid alcohol. To safely make “de-natured” and unfit for consumption, substances have been added. The burning of these substances may cause a slight smell upon initial lighting and when the flame is extinguished – similar to when you blow out a candle. e-NRG ethanol fuel is the only fuel recommended for your EcoSmart Fire ethanol fireplace. e-NRG ethanol fuel has the lowest odor and longest burn time on the market. The nice thing about using ethanol is that it’s not dry like gas or smokey like wood.
Are ethanol fireplace inserts difficult to install?
Unlike gas fireplaces or traditional wood burning fireplaces, our ethanol fireplace inserts require no venting, no gas line, no electricity - eliminating the need and cost of three sub contractors. They are simply mounted into the constructed main wall framework with the appropriate opening size for the fireplace insert selected. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplace inserts are extremely flexible and can be incorporated at any stage of your interior decorating, renovating or building works. How large of an area will my ethanol fireplace heat?
The heat output of our indoor and outdoor ethanol fireplaces vary based on the model selected. When used indoors, EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces comfortably heat between 215 sq feet and 700 sq feet.
Are ethanol fireplaces good for the environment?
EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplace burners and fireplace inserts, when paired with our e-NRG bioethanol fuel are clean burning with the only byproduct being heat, steam and carbon dioxide (the same stuff we exhale). Unlike gas fireplace inserts and wood burning fireplace inserts, EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces do not produce messy pollutants like soot, smoke, and ash.
What are the benefits of a zero clearance ethanol fireplace insert?
EcoSmart Fire’s Flex Fireplace Series has the necessary clearances to combustible frame components already built-in meaning they can be framed with wood studs. This gives you the freedom to install your ethanol fireplace insert in small and unique spaces. When selecting a location for the fireplace it is important to consider the required minimum room sizes and clearances. Please reference our Flex Series installation manual.
How long will my ethanol fireplace burn?
Burn times for our ethanol fireplaces vay based on flame size and fuel capacity of the burner. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces will burn between 8-13 hours when full.
Are EcoSmart Fires easy to install?
EcoSmart Fires are designed to be easily installed and operated. Without the need for a flue or pipe connection, EcoSmart Fires are extremely flexible and can be incorporated at any stage of your interior decorating, renovating or building works. Can EcoSmart Fires be installed everywhere?
Almost everywhere! EcoSmart Fires cannot be installed into small rooms that are less than our minimum room size which is burner specific. For all other installations, you must comply with our compulsory clearances and installation instructions. Approval from building authorities may be required prior to installation in your area. Please make sure you contact appropriate parties before installing your EcoSmart Fire.
