The Bay Fireplace Insert is designed for single room installation and features three open sides that enable the hypnotic flame to be viewed from the front and both left and right sides, providing an alluring focal point from multiple vantage points.
The Flex Bay fireboxes are ideal for commercial spaces like restaurants, bars and cafes, and residential settings where a stunning centrepiece is needed.
The Flex 60BY.BXR comes with a Decorative Box on the right-hand side. The design is fitted with a glass panel that divides the box and the Firebox and creates an attractive streamlined look. Instantly transform any wall into a feature, indoors or out, with a stylish, clean-lined Flex Firebox.
The XL700 burner delivers a captivating linear flame. With a 7L capacity, this elongated ethanol burner has the power to heat up to 50m2, making it ideal for residential and smaller commercial/hospitality spaces.
Efficiency is a key feature of this burner, delivering up to 12 hours of heat generating flame from a single refill.

Unlike gas fireplaces or traditional wood burning fireplaces, EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplace inserts require no venting, no gas line, no electricity - eliminating the need and cost of three sub contractors. Simply secure the ethanol fireplace insert in the framework, finish the surround, and it’s ready for use. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplace inserts can be installed virtually anywhere - in walls, cabinets, small spaces, high rise buildings, commercial spaces, indoors and outdoors.

Because EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces are ventless, they require no gas line, no electricity, and no chimney for a hassle free and cost effective installation. Our ethanol fireplaces have been designed and tested with safety as our top priority. We have outlined requirements for each ethanol burner, ethanol fireplace insert, and ethanol freestanding fireplace in our collection. How safe are bioethanol fireplaces?
EcoSmart Fire’s operating tools, procedures, and proprietary technologies were developed with safety as our top priority. Made from 304-grade stainless steel, EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplace burners go through a deep-draw fabrication process that eliminates the potential for dangerous leaks. Additionally, our patented filling point is separated from the ignition zone and engineered so that the jerry can spout is fully supported prior to releasing the fuel supply. This eliminates the usual splash and spills that would otherwise occur when fuel is decanted into the burner while simultaneously reinforcing the maximum fill line within the burner. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces release heat, carbon dioxide (the same stuff we exhale) and steam. Allowing you to enjoy a clean-burning flame without the soot, smoke, ash or other harmful substances emitted by traditional wood burning fireplaces. When selecting an installation location for your ethanol fireplace it is important to consider the required minimum room sizes and clearances. Do I need to service my ethanol fireplace in any way?
Yes, normal maintenance and care is very important! Instructions are included in the Installation, Operating and Maintenance Manual supplied with your EcoSmart Fire product.
Do EcoSmart Fire ethanol fireplaces give off any fumes or gases?
Bioethanol fuel is made of fermented plants like sugarcane or corn and is essentially a liquid alcohol. To safely make “de-natured” and unfit for consumption, substances have been added. The burning of these substances may cause a slight smell upon initial lighting and when the flame is extinguished – similar to when you blow out a candle. Clean burning and eco-friendly, ethanol fuel releases heat, carbon dioxide (the same stuff we exhale) and steam.
How does an ethanol fireplace work?
EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces are self-contained, burning bioethanol fuel that is housed within the stainless steel container. A flame regulator controls and stabilizes the flame. With a designated filling area, and easy shut off mechanism, you can ignite the flame and turn it off in a matter of seconds. View this quick demonstration video to help illustrate the process.

To safely make “de-natured” and unfit for consumption, substances have been added. The burning of these substances may cause a slight smell upon initial lighting and when the flame is extinguished – similar to when you blow out a candle. e-NRG ethanol fuel is the only fuel recommended for your EcoSmart Fire ethanol fireplace. e-NRG ethanol fuel has the lowest odor and longest burn time on the market. The nice thing about using ethanol is that it’s not dry like gas or smokey like wood.
