Ghost is a strikingly elegant freestanding fireplace.
Made entirely of glass and steel, the Ghost is a slim framed fireplace that works equally well in residential and commercial spaces. Though its crisp lines and glass body give it a strong modern feel, its transparency allows it to fit into design schemes of any fashion and color.
The Ghost centers around the AB3, a 2.5 litres capacity ethanol burner that has a burn time of up to eight hours. Though one of the smaller units in the Designer Range, the Ghost has the ability to warm rooms up to 20 square meters. An optional glass windscreen is also available.

View AllCan EcoSmart Fires be installed everywhere?
Almost everywhere! EcoSmart Fires cannot be installed into small rooms that are less than our minimum room size which is burner specific. For all other installations, you must comply with our compulsory clearances and installation instructions. Approval from building authorities may be required prior to installation in your area. Please make sure you contact appropriate parties before installing your EcoSmart Fire.
How do I fill my ethanol fireplace?
With EcoSmart Fire’s proprietary tools and procedures, filling your ethanol fireplace with e-NRG bioethanol fuel is fast and easy.
Step 1: Remove the bottle nozzle cap and carefully insert into the filling point
Step 2: Push and hold the green button. The nozzle will automatically stop filling once the reservoir is full.
Step 3: Replace the nozzle cap.

Do EcoSmart Fire ethanol fireplaces give off any fumes or gases?
Bioethanol fuel is made of fermented plants like sugarcane or corn and is essentially a liquid alcohol. To safely make “de-natured” and unfit for consumption, substances have been added. The burning of these substances may cause a slight smell upon initial lighting and when the flame is extinguished – similar to when you blow out a candle. Clean burning and eco-friendly, ethanol fuel releases heat, carbon dioxide (the same stuff we exhale) and steam.

For apartments and homes where gas isn’t an option, bioethanol fires are a fairly standard appliance. What are some key benefits – compared to other heating options?
When you choose ethanol as your fuel source over gas or wood, you are totally simplifying your installation requirements and costs. There's no flue or chimney required when burning ethanol, which means that you have the ultimate in design flexibility to achieve an open fire in so many more areas of your home - both indoors and out.
Do I need to service my ethanol fireplace in any way?
Yes, normal maintenance and care is very important! Instructions are included in the Installation, Operating and Maintenance Manual supplied with your EcoSmart Fire product.
How long does it take to assemble?
There is virtually no assembly. Our Freestanding and Fireplace Grates ranges are designed to be placed into the desired location, secured into position, and operated immediately. Our Fireplace Inserts are designed to slot into place, secured and built around with your preferred finish – again a quick and easy installation – so your builder or interior designer will love you!
The longest part of the setup process is trying to figure out where you want to place it – be sure it complies with our clearance requirements particularly with regard to moving objects like curtains, tree branches and so forth.
How long will my ethanol fireplace burn?
Burn times for our ethanol fireplaces vay based on flame size and fuel capacity of the burner. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces will burn between 8-13 hours when full.
