One of the most popular of the XL Series burners, the XL900 burner delivers a stunning linear flame. With a 2.4 gallons capacity, this elongated burner can heat up to 646ft2, making it ideal for larger residential and hospitality spaces such as open plan restaurants and bars or hotel lobby areas.

How safe are bioethanol fireplaces?

Made from 304-grade stainless steel, EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplace burners go through a deep-draw fabrication process that eliminates the potential for dangerous leaks. Additionally, our patented filling point is separated from the ignition zone and engineered so that the jerry can spout is fully supported prior to releasing the fuel supply. This eliminates the usual splash and spills that would otherwise occur when fuel is decanted into the burner while simultaneously reinforcing the maximum fill line within the burner. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces release heat, carbon dioxide (the same stuff we exhale) and steam. Allowing you to enjoy a clean-burning flame without the soot, smoke, ash or other harmful substances emitted by traditional wood burning fireplaces. Is their heat output similar to a gas heater?
Burning bioethanol is similar to gas, but the room doesn't dry out like it does with gas - a more gentle, softer heat is created. Heat-wise, it depends on the models being compared. Some of our bioethanol burners output 15,000 BTU and can heat up to 60sqm of living space. Bioethanol is not, however, on an adjustable thermostat. Some may be turned up and down, but you can't control the room temperature in the same way as you do with gas on mains
