e-NRG bioethanol fuel is classified as a flammable liquid and regulated as a hazardous material (hazmat). Once your fuel order has shipped or been delivered, it cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances. This is a regulatory requirement, it is not a company policy choice, and it applies regardless of whether your containers have been opened.
Why the Regulation Exists
Ethanol is a flammable liquid. Returning it through standard carrier networks creates a risk of leaks, spills, and safety hazards for carriers and transport facilities. Hazmat regulations are designed to prevent this, and they apply to all return shipments of ethanol once it has left the warehouse, opened or unopened, any quantity.
What This Means for Your Order
If your fuel has shipped or been delivered, a return or exchange is not available. If you have more fuel than you need, you can safely dispose of it at home (see How to Safely Dispose of e-NRG Ethanol Fuel at Home for step-by-step instructions).
If you need a different quantity, you are welcome to place a new order online.

If your order has not yet left the warehouse, a cancellation and full refund is possible. Contact our support team and we'll check your order status and take care of it right away.
