Operate Your Ethanol BK5 Burner - Support

This guide walks you through the operation of your EcoSmart Fire BK5 ethanol burner fireplace. Follow each step carefully to ensure safe operation.

Step 1: Before filling the burner, it must be cool and the fire off.

Step 2: Ensure the burner mouth is closed.

Step 3: Open the fill point access lid open.

Step 4: Insert jerry Can nozzle into the burner filling point.

Step 5: Push the green button to start the flow of fuel - the nozzle will automatically stop filling once the reservoir reaches MAX.

Step 6: Close the lid of the filling point.

Step 1: To light the burner, move the slider to the fully open position using the lighting rod.

Step 2: Dip the lighting rod tip into the burner to wet with fuel.

Step 3: Light the lighting rod

Step 4: Dip the lighting rod back into the burner to ignite flame.

Step 1: To adjust the BK5 flame intensity, insert the lighting rod tip through the circular ring and pull back gently to desired setting.

Step 2: The BK5 Burner has three settings to regulate the flame.

Maximum Setting

Step 1: To extinguish flame, use the hook at the end of the lighting rod, to move the burner slider to the closed position.
