How to fill and operate your ethanol XL Burner

This guide walks you through the operation of your EcoSmart Fire XL ethanol burner fireplace. Follow each step carefully to ensure safe operation.

Filling your burner

Step 1: Insert jerry can nozzle into the burner filling point.

Step 2: Push the green button to start the flow of fuel - the nozzle will automatically stop filling once the reservoir reaches MAX.

Increase the efficiency

Step 1: Use the lighting rod to flip the burner lid open.

Step 2: To increase the efficiency of the XL burner, you can add the included Baffles (Metal angles facing down)

Lighting the burner

Step 1: To light the burner, dip the lighting rod tip into the burner to wet with fuel.

Step 2: Light the lighting rod

Step 3: Dip the lighting rod back into the burner to ignite flame.

Extinguishing the flame

Step 1: To extinguish flame, use the hook at the end of the lighting rod to lift the lid and cover the burner mouth.
